OK, you have convinced me to try again. I say "again" because I was trying to make some corn waffles and I messed up the recipe, I left out the sweetener. Corn waffles DO need to be sweet, and I was really disappointed.

I'll try my standard corn bread recipe in the waffle iron tomorrow. I hate to "practice" anything I have never done before for an important meal like Thanksgiving, but if I mess it up nobody needs to know, and the birds will get a treat on Thanksgiving.

I love the idea. Thanks.
