Had a Honeywell and it lasted a whole 3 days. Had a Kipor, it lasted a whole 7 months. Will only buy Honda or Yamaha for portable needs. Now own a Yamaha and it works great. One thing that all these generators had in common is a requirement that they be started AND put under load at least once a month. I roll my 6300 out to the driveway, fire it up and plug my freezers into it and open the lids until they cycle.
Thanks for reminding me, gotta buy more stabil for the tanks. I have a lawn mower that I ran until empty (or so I thought) and stored it for 2 years. When I went to fire it up it wouldn't start.
Had to rebuild the carb. From now on it's stabil in the tank and fire it up at least every few months no matter what.
