After my recent experience in trying to get a Yamaha repaired I will go with a cheapy brand and just throw it away when it quits. I could not find any of the Yamaha repair centers that would even make an attempt at fixing it and so I got hold of a manuel and checked it out for myself. The part to fix it is $1340. plus shipping. The generator was $1800. new, a 3000 ISEB.
The repair shops did tell me that they could fix Hondas, they have them in there regularly and had a lot experience with them.
