well, these turned out good. just regular field corn, soaked in water for three days, and roasted in olive oil. it was a great use of leftover bbq rubs. the small corn is bagged cracked "hominy" corn(1.50/pound). the corn on the right is 35 cent/pound field corn. i bet a little smoke would be great on the finised product. think i'll try that next week. i used i/3 cup of olive oil, per 2 cups of corn.
