I had some steel plates cut today and will try.
What got me was when I called HORIZON they said it should be no problem to get within 10 degrees. Oh well have the winter to play around with it. I will try this and that and see what happens.

And to "drbbq" I have cooked on offsets for quite some time and had good temps, I just went to a bigger and better built offset and having trouble in getting it tuned in.
