You'd be better off soaking the turkey in a brine overnight. You'll get much more flavor that way. I brine then sprinkle some garlic powder, salt, pepper and rosemary. Smoke at 250-275 til done. Will be juicy and tasty. I'm gonna do it for New Years Day.
