hmmm - I'm gonna agree with drbbq here John. While what you say is also totally true and correct, I think most of those lists/venues are "public" knowledge. An email from a cook, judge, whoever, to an organizer, Rep, whoever is meant to be "privledged", in my opinion - meant for that purpose only.
Now, if I had an email conversation with a person about yesterday's weather, I could probably expect an email from him. But if that email dealt with his position of the BOD, I would take offense to him using it as a campaign tool.
I guess I can see both sides - but it concerns me none the less :(
