Possible Cross Contamination

Forgive me, but I'm new to all this and have a basic question. I have a Backwoods Party vertical smoker. 2 two weeks I plan to smoke a fairly large brisket and a couple of good sized pork butts. Since I must stack the meat, one over the other ... which one should I stack on top allowing to drip unto the other? Whether I place to pork or the brisket on the top rack, is there a possiblity of cross contaminating the meat or ruining the favor of one meat over the other?
