BigDaddy, You can add a third rack to you 84, it would require you moving your existing upper rack; up a little . 3rd rack works for cooking chicken and ribs , does not work well for pork butts and brisket, because of the density of the extra shelf of meat. The heat want flow as good with the 3rd shelf. The model 108 units work fine when equipped with 3 shelves but two are always better. good luck with your cook.
