In case you didn't hear, last summer was no rain and 100 plus days for as long as I can remember. No water, no feed, no cattle. The auction houses were packed with early beef last summer. If you did have cattle survive through the winter it's probably good hamburger, but not steak worthy. You should see the price of fish in cattle country. A lent sandwich cost $8 for a 6 oz fillet!
