Soaking for 2, 2 1/2 hours in a pot, changing the water every half hour, works for me.
170 or so, no foil.
But I chill it overnight and then slice it, paper thin, on a deli-slicer the next day.
Steam for 2 minutes in a basket steamer for sandwiches.
