I've been thinking about this lately. Especially when it comes to ribs. I'll make it pithy...
You can have a great rub. You can have a great glaze or sauce.
When you put them together your ribs might not turn out so good because even though they're great apart, together they stink.
Know what I mean?
Have you experienced this? Did they come from a cookbook? What DOES work together for you? What didn't work together?
