Guys, I have a question for the community at large. I am doing a big contest on the west coast later this year, an all-new format that I hope will help to change the direction of competition BBQ. It's super ambitious and will have both an invitational and an open. My question is, what do you think is the best way of announcing it? My first thought was to do so here, but where else do you think the country's best cooks are to be found? Everybody I know in this part of the country reads this forum, but what about on the West Coast?
Should I just announce it here? I'm so excited about this. It's the coolest thing I've thought of in twenty years of cooking and writing about barbecue.
