I have a 30 inch cook chamber.

30 - top
24 - rack
22 - rack
20 - rack
18 - rack
16 - rack
12 - rack
6 - reverse plate
0 - bottom

This lets me use 3 or 4 racks spaced at 4 or 6 inches or some combination. Or, just one or two, which is most often the case. I really don't do much with the top rack location, but it was easy to add and I figure that some day it will work for a pan of beans. I have done a test with biscuits and they all turned out good regardless of location. However, I am sure that when I load it up, the smoke flow changes. It seams like the top and bottom cook about the same, and the middle is a little cooler, but not drastically.
My goal was to be able to cook all four meat catagories in the LP tank that I had.

Good Luck,
