Rick, I think it depends on what flavor profile you're after. If you like what your combo of rubs gives you, but you simply want it sweeter, I'd add plain ol' granulated sugar. But, if you're looking to make the flavor profile a bit richer and more round, I think I'd use light brown sugar dried out in a warm oven. I like Sugar in the Raw, but it's crystals are larger than those in brown sugar. That said, you could whirl the SitR in a blender first. Just some (confusing) thoughts. Good Q'en On Ya'. John
