I use all beef, base recipe scale up as desired.

1 pound ground beef
1/2 medium onion grated
1 egg
1 cup oatmeal ground in a coffee mill to flour
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup BBQ sauce
more BBQ sauce to cover the top

gently mix all the above and form into a loaf shape on a BBQ screen, coat the top with BBQ sauce and place in smoker. Smoke at 250 until interior temp reaches 165. You can add bacon, other seasonings etc to change up the flavor profile
