If you are just doing one brisket and one butt, I think you could do it in the onyx with the ribs. Probably not 2 briskets and 2 butts and ribs. I've got one I use all the time but I haven't used it in contests for comp meats. Get one of the adapters from BBQ Guru that adds the 4th shelf for more capacity. You'll need a guru with the onyx. Just don't overload with charcoal. I don't fill the bin with more than about 25% full for a full day's cook, and don't use more than about half a chimney for starter. Mine will go to 235 and park there for 10-12 hours. Also I don't use more than 2 or 3 small chunks of wood, that's plenty for the onyx.
