Yes they are good. Season, grill over high heat to crust, into an aluminum tray on top of onion, celery, carrot. Pour in beef broth about half way up, cup or two of red wine, reseason the entire tray then smoke for three or four hours or until tender. The time will all depend on the size of the short ribs.
Remove the veg along with some of the jus and blend into a smooth sauce and serve over the short ribs
