If your looking for detailed sales reports those costs money. Nielsen rates them as well as Symphony. You want is an iri report for that specific market segment.
The cheapest ways is just to google sales figures for bbq sauces and rubs, marketing reports and check with progressive grocer, gourmet retailer and some other magazine targeted towards grocery sales. Even try a search for top selling spice blends etc.
This is from an IRI report from 2003. example: Kraft Original BBQ sauce had approx 3.1 mil in sales in a 12 week period in approx 800 grocery stores. Open Pit sold 90k in the same market.
These types of figures are the ones that you pay for or if you have a friend in the food brokerage business they might be able to get you one.
