I've found that time varies greatly.
I would ask if you plan on some kind of tent or not. I prefer to go untented because I really like the presentation of a pig spinning on a spit in the yard but sometimes I find the cook time going way long so I'm always prepared to throw a tent over it if I need to push it along. I think things like direct sunlight or a little brease greatly change the cooktime when it is wide open.
Also be prepared for a LOOOOOOONG pause at 150deg...like hours....i really paniced my first couple of times.
