Exactly, Ford. It is a television show. The only rules I heard were that the contestants had a certain amount of time in which to get the product done for turn-in. At no time was there any mention, that I recall, of any rules from any sanctioning body pertaining to what they could or could not do to their cuts of meat.

I would be sure that all of the contestants know the KCBS pork parting rule. But who knows if it applied for this show, and if it did, would it have been called out, since it was on camera?

Can't wait for episode 3.
