Ray, I always tell people that if they can cook it in their oven, I'll cook it in my smoker.
I haven't had anything that I would consider "bad" yet.
The chocolate cake wasn't the greatist the first time, but after I burnt all the nice layers of seasoning off the grates and the inside of the pit, I set it up with a nice clean burning fire and the second chocolate cake was fantastic. Just the slightest hint of something added, but not enough to tell it was smoke.
Actually, I haven't tried to use my indoor oven in a couple of years...I use it to store my cast iron cookware.
