My grown-up version is when I went to Savenore's in Boston today. There is nothing like this place where I live. I basket looked like this:
Red Dragon cheese- an addiction. Those who know...know
Frogs legs- Haven't had them in years. Scampi tomorrow.
Beef Jerky- Smoked in house.
Sweet and Italian sausage- Made in-house
Weisswurst sausage- Never had it- Suggestions welcomed.
Wild boar sausage- pork and beef with Shiraz and cranberries
Chicken, basil, and Parm. sausage- Suggestions welcomed, but I think I will grill with the Italians.
Tasso- I've only had this on pizza, but I have read that it is great with eggs. Probably from Rany's website. Remember him? He was a fixture here for a while.
I could've spent a mortgage payment there. Any suggestions, especially for Tasso, are welcomed. Butchers and their craft are non-existent on this sand bar. I will be fat for the fourth.
