Hey Ray and everybody else,
There was no cover up and no hidden stuff as to the process that was taken in accordance with KCBS rules in regards to Lakeland. Carolyn was the clock "Natzi" and as far as I know, she called Tuffy late even though she accepted the entry. This was only for Tuffy's benefit as a late entry is better than no entry. She came to me and said that we had a late entry and it was Tuffy. This is a standard procedure for KCBS as DQs are never unilateral. I ask if there was a line and she said no. I said, "then Tuffy was late." We took the entry to the disbursal area and marked it as "late". It was never passed to the judging table. As far as I know, the proper scores were entered into the computer reflecting the late entry before the final tabulation.
Tuffy's entry gained him scores for the entry, vice a "no turn in". I will not go into the numbers as I know you can do this with no problem.
I was the second Rep. to know that Tuffy was late, and I have no problem attesting to the fact that that fact was recorded in the score tabulation.
