Traeger units require about 300 watts ( about 2.7 amps ) during 4 minute startup, then about 50 watts ( about .45 amps ) thereafter. Watts/ voltage = amps. No problem with 20 or 30 amp circuits usually provided at comps or with deep cycle battery/inverter setup.
