Chinese Red Ribs in Pit??

Wondering if anyone has done those Chinese Red Ribs in their pit and how you liked them. I had some off someone's takeout dinner one nite and thought they were pretty good for takeout stuff in a box. Thought could be way better if smoked and more tender.
