I would like to recommend John Fuqua (CEO ALLGRO FINE FOODS) and Randy Birch (Team Allgro) in nomination,(each) for the Smoky Angel Award. John goes way back to the early MIM days, has donated to many barbecue related functions, Kooker's Kare, United Way, Cancer Research, etc. through barbecue and his barbecue products. Randy and Eilieen Burch are Team Allegro and have commited to not only cook competition but are also the backbone of the actual cooking. This weekend Randy and John cooked over 600 rib eye sandwiches,ribs, many briskets and 60lbs pork while Blues Hog Team and Chris Chadwick (Pres. Tenn. BBQ Asso.) Cooked 70 Slabs Ribs, 80 pork, brisket for over $16,000 for St.Jude's. John and Randy are workers for a cause!
