I first found these pages when I was trying to get some tips, hints, techniques, etc. for a large BBQ I was doing for my In-laws Golden Anniversary. It must have worked because the party was a booming success.
I do not compete but interestingly enough, I like to keep up with the teams. I have my favorite teams based on, not by meeting them, but by what they post, how they say it, and any information they give out. The chicken tutorial the other day really caught my eye with the cooks, sorry I forgot who now, freely given information.
Now it seems that the discussion has changed to more of who has a fuss or gripe or, as mentioned above, the passing or retirement of someone lots of folks know. Absolutely nothing wrong with that but I miss the results being given on many of the contest, sharing of information, and the GOOD natured ribbing of each other. Seems too serious on the ribbing these days.
Sorry this was so long but I wanted to get this out there.
