I don't get the constant "nit-picking" aimed at the judges tent. Who really cares and does it really matter in the grand scheme of things who takes meat home? Is it really such an issue if a TC tastes some food while at his table? Having them wait and go back to the grazing table (at least at the events I've judged) would result in them most likely getting nothing as it's taken by all the volunteers etc as it hits the table. No problem with that, it's what that table is for imo.
Also it makes you leave your table which needs restock,clean up and monitoring.
