If it helps, I've got two Superior SS'2 and my former teammate bought 2 as well when he moved to South Carolina. I love mine and wouldn't trade them in for anything. If I was to buy again (and I do want a new cooker for home only), I'd look probably at them again, however, I'd also look at Backwoods, Spicewine and Pit Maker, oh, and a meat monster from Peoria Cookers.

Any of the brands you won't have quality issues with - they all have little points of things that are better on. The three are made in the same shop (long story there) and the Assassin has taken some of the better points on a couple and probably stolen some design ideas from Finney as he's made changes on his.

My advice would still be to compete for a year before jumping into vending, especially if you've got a small team. If you've got a bunch of people you know & can count on to help out, then vending will be an easier thing to consider. Always remember, you will need to prioritize - which will come first - vending or competing, and know one of the two at least, will probably not be as good if you're not devoting your time specifically to it.

Any questions on the cookers, feel free to email me. Take my name and add @gmail . com to it
