I agree the AR and Jack need to review their criteria. We are in a very rural area and have struggled every year to meet the team minimums. We made it in year 1 and 2 but this year looks very bleak.

I believe teams are watching their money a lot closer in these tough times and are staying close to home and cutting way back on the number of contests they do. I believe we've done everything right and offer a pretty decent purse, much better than a lot of others, but we can't seem to attact 25+ teams consistently. We are 200+ miles from anything that could be considered a metro area and happen to be the largest community in that 200+ mile radius; but the teams are very few inside that radius.

It may be time for us to reconsider why we even do a contest if we have to meet the same high team counts as contests in metro and regional areas :/

Just my nickels worth.
