my dang alarm clock works all to well. never heard one so loud. maybe i should get a new one of those as well. the problem is leaving the kids alone while im out messing with a fire. i use splits on an offset and i cant build the fire up too big or the temp shoots way up. so i have to have small ones which involves me re-fueling more than i want with 2 kids and another on the way. it'd be different if my wife was home...but we work opposite shifts. ceramic will be in the future...but not in my budget now.
