I usually use about half a back of Royal Oak lump and some wood chunks. It will go for 18 hours or so at 225. Have never had to refuel. Used 3/4 bag once and it was still at 225 23 hours later. Cook was long over, I just wanted to see how long it would last. Again, no temperature variation over the time, (except when I failed to close the daisy wheel on top when checking temp. My fault but it was caught quickly as I had left my chilled adult beverage next to the egg.) I am sure this never happened to anyone else....
