I cooked this event and my brisket bombed, hence the reason we aren't making the trip to AR. The other three categories; chix, ribs, and pork were good and placed in the top 10. I didn't think they were much better than they usually are, however the scores were higher. Could it be because the judges expected better bbq based on the field of cookers and had preconceived expectations?
