thanks ray, it was good seeing you again. it was an amazing weekend. what an incredible feeling to watch the ceremony live, with you. the american royal did exactly what we were all hoping they would (by we, i mean the still anonymous 7 panel members, yourself, and then mike davis as spokesman). they decided to honor our past efforts(thanks to rod i suspect), rather than to simply start from scratch with their own. i'm very greatful for that. it meant the world to bret and i to see our friend speed inducted. i also had the chance to meet mike mills, john willingham, and even rich davis. i saw carolyn, johnny, and even guy. i have to admit, guy seems as cool in person as he does on tv. it was non-stop people pestering him, and he was polite to every single one. he seemed like a very good person. i also had a chance to meet ardie davis, a guy who has helped me with senior q, and i was equally impressed. i thought i had a picture of me with guy, speed, and rich davis, but it was blurry. maybe one will show up. we also had a chance to see some friends like drbbq, the jugster, greg, and a bunch more. it was a weekend i'll never forget. i wish the american royal the best of luck in the future, and once again thank them for working with us, rather than around us. its something we'll all be proud of, from now on.
ps-to top it off, we were sitting by clone when he won reserve at the invitational. he'll be helping us at senior q in a couple of weeks. it all came together over the weekend :).
