We always made our own sausage too. And I agree with you about the "snap" your talk'n about... But if a case gets tough, it would likely hurt ya at the judge's table! I always felt real hog casings were more forgiving here. I know there are others who feel differently thou. Either way, a skinless roll of sausage is not what I'd go look'n for at meal time! Bill
