I think some labels try to STRETCH the product by adding other sweeteners which is obviously cheaper than cooking it down like you're supposed to. Find a better label/company that sticks to the true methods of making it and you'll be happier, easy, no not nowadays. Pure maple syrup, UNBASTARDIZED is a special thing indeed. Nothing wrong with adding it to other things to bring something to that stage, but not to add things to IT to make it more profitable....if you catch my meaning.
