I do know that a lot of competition cooks have found that cooking wagyu briskets moves you up in the ranks. As a result a lot of people are willing to spend $120 or more per brisket. The fact is that taste is better. I have heard that that there is not much difference in the cooking temperature to shoot for.

I did once have a Kobe steak in a very expensive steak house in Tokyo Japan. I didn't have to pay for the meal and it was very tender and very good.
