Toni,

I've been cooking turkeys on BGEs for years. I start out indirect with drip pan at 375 and when the temp stabilizes I back it down to 350. They take about 14 minutes per pound. A bird that has not been brined or injected may take a bit longer. I loosely "stuff" with some onion, sage and an orange that I warm up in microwave and stab a bunch of times with a fork.

I take the bird off the grill when the temp in breast reaches 161. It will keep cooking for a bit. If it's done way before you want to eat it, wrap it in foil and then a towel and pop it into a cooler.

Happy day. JCA
