You must have a Chinese Traeger -- mine is an old American made and is rock solid and has a front shelf. Anyhoo . . . Yoder had a lot of "growing pains" out of the chute with their pellet cookers but now produces a great product. I've seen several at comps but they'll probably never catch up to FEC100's in volume/usage.
