I really enjoyed the show mainly because it wasn't a dog and pony show, it was real people cooking real BBQ the way hundreds of small shops do it every day. I loved the way two of the pits had to be hauled in on a flatbed with forklift (I assume). While the salad presentations wouldn't rate 9's by the judges I know, you could just taste the true smokey flavor with your eyes, which is how it should be.
