Also, when using bungee cords or ratchet straps, be careful of the attachment points of the straps to the framework. Don't use the middle of a sidewall. Use only the upper most corners where there are multiple frame members joining. The scissor joints on the sidewalls are the weakest points in the structure. (Lesson learned)
Those $100 canopies at Wal-Mart are very reliable, up to a certain point. I have four of them and they have been great if properly secured. OK...they are $100 canopies. A $600 tent can blow away as quick as a $100 tent. Just pay attention and know your equipments limits.
