House Cats are not part of the natural animal world, nor are feral dogs or other critters that have been bred and created for house pets. Then people let them go into the wild and cause unbelievable destruction. Just look at what the pet pythons have done to the everglades. I don't say these things to be mean, just practical. North American wild cats would be bobcats, lynx's, cougars and the like. Ferral house cats are at epidemic proportions as are the hog problem. I grew up with cats and dogs, leash them, keep them in the house and they are great companions. Left to breed in the wild is not a "natural" situation. Really, just the realty of it, not meant to cause issues with anyone. Love your pets, neuter them and don't release them into the enviroment when you tire of them. Shelter or put them down is the kind right thing for all.

Best intended regards
