Last year at the restaurant they went up (as they usually do just before the Superbowl) considerably. They supplier says that they will drop in price shortly after the big game. Well they didn't. Not really that much anyway. Now they are saying that the price of wings going up is all based on the cost of the feed. Well what about the other cuts? Thighs? breasts? Wings went up 150% in just a week here in Florida. Does that mean that chicken breast that was $2lb last week is now at $5lb this week? I don't see it like that. Feed is feed. These people know that wings are the number one consumed food during the Superbowl and they're making excuses, not reasons, to raise the price.
I would suspect that after the big game that wing prices once again will not drop all that much if any.
