Ahh, Podge if life were really that simple. Out of the 4 options you listed in reality there's actually only 2 that are possible. If you resent (not quite the words I'd use more dislike or don't agree) with the current state of BBQ the only options are to either quit or live with it.
Lobbying the BOD to do anything unless you're already a friend of at least one member gets you absolutely no place as evidenced by things posted on this very forum in the last year like apron-gate,forged judging slip-gate etc. As for starting your own organization, while that used to be possible it seems that some forces have decided competition to run events is very bad and have worked to discourage or kill off any other "rogue" organizations by various means like lobbying major events to exclude said "rogue" organizations.
