I am diehard when it comes to using lump charcoal. This last weekend though I needed to cook some stuff up ahead of time for Easter with family. I had seen few comments on Kingford Comp Briquettesso I decided to give them a try. All and all was very favorable. While I will still probably use lump, I would not mind using these. Heat was good, burntime was great and ash (while more than lump) was much less than a conventional briquette. That,s my two cents
