I agree as well,everyone is doing pretty much everything the same way and with all the chemicals,parkay,honey,etc. being used it's hard to even taste the REAL flavour of the meat.We aren't doing many comps anymore either,it used to be more fun when everyone was actually cooking BBQ,now it just chemically enhanced,candy coated,meat flavour lacking,nothing ! Too bad comps can't go back to the real comp BBQ of years past,sure seemed beter.IMO
