I agree. Personally, I'd like to see judges, who are looking for REAL barbecue, give the oversauced meat the score it deserves THEN fill out a Comment Card explaining what you did and why. I concede that score cards are strongly encouraged for low scores, but there's no rule against submitting a score card supporting ANY score and for ANY constructive purpose. Just don't say "your meat sucked." That's simply inflmmatory and conveys no useful information. As a Rep, I'd happly turn back to teams any comment cards that say "too much gloppy sickeningly sweet sauce totally covered up the meat flavor." At every sporing event these days, someone always starts a "wave." Maybe our "wave" starts here. Good Q'en On Ya'. John
