Yeah I think a written test for judges might be helpful in a lot of areas. Are the teams cooking for the judges classes doing all the additives to the meat used in class or are they cooking samples where the meat flavor shines instead of additives?
maybe it has been presented to the board by the KCBS official who have heard increased comments from judges asking where the nearest place to get something to remove the taste. Are they keeping statistical data? They didn't say.
