So if the judge prefers a piece of meat that's exploding with flavor that varies from what you decide is the limit of meat flavor, that judge is out. Seriously? It still sounds to me like you're telling the judges what they like and don't like. Good luck with that.
And you still haven't defined "additives." Our chicken brine has vinegar, salt and water. The flavor difference is huge, but is that too many additives for you? If so, how do you intend to enforce the ban?
Thanks for the "maybe it has been" line. That says it all: your evidence is anecdotal, and the KCBS is beyond the point where they can make major changes to competitions based on anecdotal evidence. I hope.
